While on the home page, click on “Savings” or “Deal of the Day” to see all current deals by category. Lowe’s offers 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and sometimes up to 75% off clearance items.
Lowe’s Advantage Card (20% discount)
The Lowe’s Advantage Card gives Lowe’s customers a 20% off when they open and use a new account – this offer is currently ongoing and will last till 1/31/2022. The max discount with this offer is $100
You also get other offers exclusive to cardholders, including a 5% off everyday discount on purchases and special six-months financing on purchases over $299 or fixed payments across 84 months (APR of 7.99%) with at least a $2,000 purchase.
Note that the 20% offer comes with a discount max of $100 and cannot be used with or on the 5% Off Every Day offer.
Follow Lowe’s on social media
Lowe’s regularly gives shout-outs about its upcoming sales seasons and often releases special deals to followers on its Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages.

Another cool way to get Lowe’s discounts and coupons as a student is to join its mailing list. Discounts change periodically, but you can score offers like a 20% off on $50 purchases or a 10% off printable coupon.
Lowe’s Price Promise
The Lowe’s Price Promise program is another great way for students to get awesome deals on everyday purchases if you can find a lower price on an identical in-stock item from another retailer. Lowes is simply promising you it will match any competitor retailer’s price and beat them by 10% off. All you have to do is present the ad, print, or photo to validate the price match.
Lowe’s free shipping
Lowe’s has a free shipping offer for a minimum order of $45 on items that weigh less than 150 pounds (or 70 pounds for APO/FPO or P.O. box addresses). The free shipping offer can considerably lower your total purchases by 10%, 20%, or more.
Lowe’s weekly ad
Lowe’s weekly ad is a fantastic way to get discounts at Lowe’s as a student. The home improvement company advertises temporary weekly deals, which are available online or in-store. To see your local weekly ad online, visit Lowe’s website and enter the location information of your store.
Coupon sites
Some coupon sites offer Lowe’s coupons and codes when you visit their site or sign up, but use caution as some of these sites also offer expired coupon codes. A Few of them, like offers.com and retailmenot.com regularly validate their codes with a display of expiration dates and the number of people who have used the coupon or offer that very day.

- Sam’s Club is another similar store that offers college students a $15 gift card when they sign up for club membership with awesome discounts.
- Target offers a college registry targeted at students. You get 15% off on anything left on your registry.
